God even talks through paper towel..
This morning, I woke up to something that filled my heart. To my surprise, my car was completely covered with paper towel. There was a box with a dirty diaper on my hood. My car antenna was covered by the paper towel inner cylinder and there was an empty, nasty, box of what seemed to once hold 4 beer bottles. Truth is, a tear came to my eye. It was beautiful. Who ever did it, showed, creativity passion, dedication, and much tender loving care (hence the baby diaper). It was obvious that it was someone that I trained very well. :)
But really, it filled my heart. There was a note on my wind shield that said "You can't escape us P.J." You probably are laughing right now and won't believe what I'm about to say to you, but God spoke to me while I was standing in front of that car.
I was reminded that these years of youth ministry have not been in vein. That in some odd way, God has used them to touch the hearts of some really cool young people. I'm honored.. It's in honor to wake up in the morning and proudly say "Hey, some youth just paper toweled my car because they haven't forget about me." Just like God hasn't forgot about us. Truth is, I think that I felt the same joy that God feels when He sees that we haven't forgotten about Him.
So, today, through out your day, Why not paper towel God's heart? Remind Him that he's on your mind. Let Him know in some cool way that He hasn't escaped your heart. That you love Him. Make Him smile. How about paper toweling someone elses heart? Love God with all your heart, love people like you love yourself. Sounds familiar right?
So we go foward. Pao and I have been in youth ministry for 10 years now and we are hoping for another 20 years. We do it because we love God, love his calling and love young people. To those who blessed me today, I love you for it. Thanks for letting God use you.. Even if you didn't know He was.. :)

Paintball..
So I've spent the morning thinking on how I can blog about paintball and connect it with Jesus.. Although a few ideas came to mind, I don't think they where that convincing.. Here's a few:
1) Paintballing reminds me that Jesus died on the cross and shed His RED blood so that we can be saved
2) Paintball games remind me of spiritual warfare. When you sin, you get stained?
3) Paintballing is like church, we all together get dressed up, as one, fight the good fight?
Ok, I'll stop.. But it we are still going paintballing ok? So to remind you all on how REAL this can become, here's a short video!
WARNING: Paintball is not for the weak of heart!

Operation Christmas Child
The Official website describes this project this way: "Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God’s love. Since 1993, more than 61 million shoe boxes have been packed, shipped, and delivered across the globe. People of all ages can be involved in this simple, hands-on missions project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus Christ."
I don't know about you, but I want to be part of this! Our youth group will be taking a big part of it. The whole church will be meeting to put together as many shoe boxes as we can, but our youth group will be meeting also on our own to set up even more boxes ourselves. Valeri is helping me out on this project, so soon she will have more info, but for now, I leave you with a video that shows how they gave out gifts in Panama last year with Operation Christmas Child. This is what it's all about.. Loving people the way God loves us...
